Northwest Technical College is a personal, quality-focused technological college offering diplomas, certificates, and two-year associate’s degree occupational programs. While we primarily serve northern Minnesota’s residents, learners come to the College from the across the state and the nation to participate in the College’s on-campus programs, as well as our distance education degree programs offered via the Internet. (See NTC Today Video) This site contains Northwest Technical College’s Systems Portfolio. This portfolio is a log of the College’s activities with regard to the nine categories of the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP), which is an accreditation program of the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The portfolio gives an overview of the context in which the College implements each of these nine categories, the processes that the College

uses to implement the things we do, the results achieved from our efforts, and the improvements that we have made and plan to make based on these results. Each section of the portfolio responds to specific questions centered on one of the categories, which are shown in the menu column on the left of this page.
